Old Geezer and Dirt Sketches

Some character designs I did for a kind of animated educational/promotional children’s series connected to Whole Foods. If I recall correctly the premise was about a young boy learning to garden with the help of a wacky friend (a pile of dirt!) and a cranky old man.  The visual direction for the man was that his head should look like some kind of gourd.  This was all just for a pitch and as far as I know it was never green lit.
